Morgan was featured in a short film on AIDS awareness and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects, and she also testified at a special Congressional panel discussing AIDS awareness. Morgan is part of the Board of Governors of APLA as well as the Board of Directors of Amfar. She has been asked to replace the Surgeon General who was formerly C. Everett Koop at the AIDS-related gatherings. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented an AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell asked her to be on two occasions on Nightline regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated by the Emmys for Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially for Morgan. Morgan was co-starring in the ABC TV series Your Money or Your Wife with Joan Rivers. She then started the summer with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner and also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next part of her project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan also played in a psychological suspense drama created exclusively by USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ratings of all time for the network.
